APPLY FOR ARTIST RESIDENCE AND EXHIBITION SPACE
AT THE LAVANGSNES CHAMBER OF WONDER FOR SPRING 2020!
We are now accepting applications to stay at Lavangsnes Wunderkammer, to work with and show off their art! The stay will be 4 - 6 weeks in March / April 2021. The exhibition will be held in the first half of April 2021.
The application form and attachments to the application must be sent by31.10.2020 at 24.00.
Are you an artist and would like to exhibit at Lavangsnes Wunderkammer? Regardless of the medium - sculpture, painting, drawing, performance, sound, film - send us your application! We are very curious about how you work, what joys and difficulties you tend to encounter in the studio. Even though it is quite unpredictable, when you suddenly work in a new place and sleep in an unfamiliar house, it is interesting for us to know about your expectations, plans or ideas for a stay with us.
After you have submitted the application form, here on the website, you will be asked to send us your CV and a portfolio (maximum 10 works) in PDF format by email.
We provide board, lodging and studio space for the period of your stay. Some material and tools can be made available by agreement. An exhibition fee is paid to the artist. During the exhibition, the works are insured through Lavangsnes Wunderkammer. The journey to and from must be covered by the artist (airports BDU and EVE are the closest).
